Research focus
Mechanical stress
We systematically investigate protein kinase- and protein phosphatase-dependent signaling networks in mammalian cells to decipher complex substrate-kinase/phosphatase relationships on a system-wide level. We are particularly interested in signaling processes involved in protection against mechanical stress.
