6th GALENUS Workshop in Würzburg
12.11.2018The 6th Galenusworkshop was organized from the 6th to 7th of November in the beautiful Neubaukirche in Würzburg. With more than 70 participants, the meeting intended to foster and truly sparked the education of young scientists with 15 lectures in the field of bioresponsive drug delivery systems.
The Galenus Short presentation award was given to Stefanie Thalhauser (Recognition of HIV-1 trimers after immobilization on silica nanoparticles by broadly neutralizing antibodies, University of Regensburg) and the Galenus Poster Prize was awarded to Julius Sundermann (Pharmaceutical quality aspects in the early development of a novel implant prototype for the restoration of a tendon-to-bone transition, Technical University of Braunschweig).
The meeting was rounded off by a welcome reception and organ concert on the first evening with a get-together afterwards.
